Looking for a night out with a bit more edge? Axe throwing at The Silly Goose is all about focus, friendly competition and that satisfying “thud” when you hit the target. No experience needed our instructors guide you through everything so you can relax, have fun and enjoy the challenge.
Perfect for birthdays, team socials or just trying something new, it’s competitive, energising and guaranteed to get everyone cheering.
30 MINUTE SESSION
Available for 2 - 4 players (per lane). A fast-paced session that includes games and is ideal for first-timers or smaller groups looking for a quick taste of axe throwing fun.
60 MINUTE SESSION
Available for 4 - 5 players (per lane). One hour. Multiple games. Maximum bragging rights. Test your aim, challenge your mates, and see who rules the target.

AGE & PARTICIPATION
Axe throwing is available to ages 14+. Participants aged 14–17 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times. No one under 14 may take part. Photo ID may be required to verify age.
ALCOHOL & SUBSTANCE POLICY
Axe throwing is a no-alcohol activity.
Participants must not consume alcohol or drugs before or during their axe throwing session. Anyone who appears to have been drinking or is otherwise impaired will not be permitted to take part, regardless of how much alcohol has been consumed.
This rule also applies to supervising adults during sessions involving minors.
Our team are legally required to enforce this policy and their decision is final. Refused participation due to alcohol or substance use will not be refunded.
FOOTWEAR & CLOTHING
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Open footwear such as sandals, flip-flops, or heels is not permitted. Long hair should be tied back and loose clothing avoided.
ARRIVAL & SESSION TIMING
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for waivers and your mandatory safety briefing. Late arrival may reduce your throwing time. Sessions start and end on time due to scheduled bookings.
SAFETY & SUPERVISION
All sessions are led by trained instructors and include a full safety briefing. Unsafe behaviour or misuse of equipment will result in the session being paused or ended. Instructor decisions are final for safety reasons.
EQUIPMENT
All axes and targets are supplied by the venue and inspected regularly. Personal axes are not permitted.
SPECTATORS
Spectators are welcome in designated viewing areas only.
Anyone under the age of 18 must remain under the direct supervision of a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
Children under 14 may attend as spectators only and are not permitted to participate in axe throwing.
Spectators of any age must not enter throwing lanes or handle equipment.
ACCESSIBILITY & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Axe throwing involves standing and upper-body movement. Guests with accessibility or physical concerns are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can advise appropriately.
